Our $500 Student Referral Program at Academy of Learning Mississauga West rewards eligible referrers when a referred student enrolls and remains in good standing. How can I refer my friend?
Reward: $500 CAD per eligible referral
Who can refer: Students, alumni, graduates, employers, community partners, friends & family
Programs: Diploma programs offered by AOLCC Mississauga West
Payout timing: After eligibility is confirmed (see “Payout & Timelines”)
Eligibility to Participate
To participate in the AOLCC Mississauga West Referral Program (“Program”), the individual making the referral (“Referrer”):
Must be a current student, a graduate/alumni, or have had a documented conversation with an Admissions Advisor prior to submitting the referral.
Must submit the referral before the student applies or at the time of application (so we can attribute the referral).
Must provide accurate details: referrer name, referred student name, contact info, and intended program.
Cannot refer themselves.
Referral by Students Enrolled Through an Agent
If a student originally enrolled through a recruitment agent wishes to make a referral, they may participate, but must provide additional information to confirm eligibility. This may include:
Proof of their own enrollment at AOLCC Mississauga West.
Contact details of the Admissions Advisor they are currently working with.
The College reserves the right to request supporting documentation to confirm referrer eligibility.
Referred Student Requirements
The referred student must:
a) Successfully complete admissions and enrollment into an eligible Diploma program at Academy of Learning Career College, Mississauga West campus.
b) Remain enrolled for a minimum of 90 days from the official program start date.
c) Be in good academic, attendance, and financial standing to date with the College (no outstanding fees).
If the student withdraws, is dismissed, or expelled within the first 90 days, the referral reward will not be issued.
Reward Amount
- The standard referral reward is $500 CAD per eligible student referred.
- There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make; however, each referral must independently meet all Program conditions.
Payout & Timelines
- Rewards are processed within 30 days after we verify the student has met all conditions in Sections 2 and 5.
- Payments are made to the Referrer via cheque or electronic transfer (as available).
- The College may request identification to verify the Referrer’s identity prior to payment.
Good Standing Criteria (College Compliance)
To be considered “in good standing,” the referred student must:
- Maintain satisfactory academic performance based on program expectations.
- Maintain required attendance as outlined in campus policies.
Keep their student financial account up to date, with no outstanding fees.
Disputes, Duplicates & Attribution
- Only one Referrer can receive the reward for a given student.
- If multiple referrers claim the same student, the reward goes to the party first recorded in our system prior to application or at application time.
The College’s internal records will be considered final in determining attribution.
Program Changes & Termination
Academy of Learning Career College, Mississauga West, reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate this Program (including the reward amount and eligibility criteria) at any time without prior notice. Changes will not affect referrals already confirmed as eligible prior to the change.
Fraud, Misrepresentation & Compliance
- Any fraud, abuse, or misrepresentation related to the Program will result in disqualification and may lead to additional actions as allowed by College policy and applicable law.
- The Program is intended to encourage word-of-mouth recommendations. It is not permitted to advertise misleading claims or to represent yourself as an agent of the College.
Privacy & Consent
By participating, the Referrer consents to the collection and verification of information necessary to administer the Program. The College will handle personal information in accordance with its privacy policies and applicable laws.
How to Refer (Step-by-Step)
- Submit your referral using our referral form with your name, contact info, and the referred student’s details.
- The student applies and enrolls in an eligible Diploma program at AOLCC Mississauga West.
- The student remains enrolled and in good standing for 90 days from program start.
- We confirm eligibility and issue your $500 reward within 30 days.
